How to get there
The easiest way to get there is by following the directions on Google Maps (not Waze), type: Viga Veja

By car:

If you come from Manizales or pass through this city, you must take the Autopista del Café towards Pereira. Travel about 9 km from the exit of the city, until taking a detour to the Vereda San Peregrino that is located before a large pedestrian bridge as indicated in the following photo

If you are coming up from Eje cafetero (the coffee belt like Armenia, Salento, Quimbaya, Filandia, Pereira among others ), Valle del Cauca, or Medellín, about 10 km before arriving in Manizales on the Autopista del Café, take the turn-off to the left in the San Marcos de León sector. Then, drive down for approximately 1 km and take the detour to the right, which is the entrance to Vereda San Peregrino. It is located right before a large pedestrian bridge, as shown in the following photo:

Viga Vieja is 1.4 km from this entrance.
After about 800 mts, Take the detour on the left-hand side with the VIGA VIEJA sign as shown in the photo:

Drive 600 mts from the main gate down to the second gate of Finca Viga Vieja. This gate corresponds to the entrance to the Rústica and Cimarrona guest cabins.

By public transportation:

Please ask the driver to let you off at the pedestrian bridge of San Peregrino if you use the transport service from the Eje Cafetero (like Armenia, Salento, Quimbaya, Filandia, Pereira among others) Valle del Cauca, or Antioquia to Manizales on the Autopista del Café highway. It is located about 10 km before arriving in Manizales. Get off there, and cross the bridge until you reach the El Establo store. There you can wait for a bus that runs every hour. In this store, they can tell you about its schedule.
The farm is 1.4 kms from this entrance.
After about 800 mts, take the detour with the VIGA VIEJA sign on the left-hand side as shown in the photo:

-Walk 600 meters from the main gate down to the second gate of Finca Viga Vieja. This gate corresponds to the entrance to the Rústica and Cimarrona guest cabins.

-If you are coming from Manizales, you have two options:
1. Ask a cab driver to take you to Vereda San Peregrino, Finca (farm) Viga Vieja. Using Google maps, you will get there easily. You can also use a private transportation service (the Phone Numbers of Interest include the options).
2. Take the bus running the route Manizales-Vereda San Peregrino every hour. Take the bus at Parque Liborio, Socobuses service station. About 800 mts after the bus has taken the detour to San Peregrino, get off it, and take the detour with the VIGA VIEJA sign on the left-hand side as shown in the photo.
